gooination is Using Latest Technology to Share Its Tour with the World
On the tour’s first leg, Kate Chamberlin, mygooi digital media specialist, will be conducting market research in Frankfurt, Germany, using Google Glass to transmit her impressions. Google made its new technology generally available in the U.S. Tuesday (May 13).
After Frankfurt, Chamberlin will head to Chennai, India. She will work alongside mygooi app developers, understudy Bangalore-based advertising agency Propaganda India and promote the gooi brand at Goafest 2014, an advertising award ceremony and conference May 29 through 31.
“mygooi is crushing it in social media,” said CEO Paul N. Greenwood. “We were a bit surprised the whole world wants to join the party!”
Chamberlin, a 2013 Simpson College graduate, will use Google Glass to capture gooination with photos, videos and data from her route to use in the upcoming app release.
“Her education in journalism and public relations made her able to jump right in and move with the speed and energy of the company to advance its global presence,” Greenwood said.
Says Chamberlin, “The opportunity to work with an exciting, innovative company like mygooi is exactly what my Simpson education prepared me for. The experiences I’ve had working on expansive social media campaigns, product development and video production are a result of classes and internships. Getting to travel around the world using Google Glass is purely a bonus.”
mygooi has target markets in Europe, Japan, China, India and the Americas and will debut its latest mobile platform shortly through the Apple App Store and Google Play.
