GooiNation Street Team Visits Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, Iowa State Fair

Sturgis, South Dakota (PRWEB) August 12, 2014

Mygooi’s new mobile social app was the company’s I-love-it news as the GooiNation Street Team World Tour visited South Dakota, said Hilary David, Mygooi national event coordinator. The team spread gooi good will at the annual motorcycle invasion of Sturgis and at other South Dakota attractions such as Mount Rushmore, Deadwood and Hill City. It also visited the Iowa State Fair in Des Moines, Iowa.

Mygooi is a technology brand with headquarters in Des Moines and Chennai, India.

“We went to the Black Hills on a quest for gooi businesses,” she said. “We talked to over 1,000 people about the gooiSocial app, passed out SWAG and got gooi!”

“The app is the best way to tell friends about businesses, places, people and things that you love,” said chief marketing officer Jon Buscall. “Members of gooiNation can share recommendations straight from their iPhones, posting photos, comments and links to businesses and locations. They can create a ‘gooi’ of people they trust, easily discovering what these friends really love. And they can share posts to other social networks they are active in.” The gooiSocial app is available at

“Something is gooi when you or your trusted contacts in the gooiverse love it,” says Mygooi CEO Paul N. Greenwood. “GooiSocial lets you share that love. We want to get people involved and gooi. The tour is ‘disruptive’ networking at its best, taking them in new and unexpected directions.”

One highlight of South Dakota was the 74th annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. The rally, held the first week of August each year, is one of the largest events of its kind, attracting more than 400,000 bikers from all over the world to the town of some 6,600 residents. In addition to visiting with visitors all over Sturgis, the Mygooi team visited the30-acre Full Throttle Saloon, the world’s largest biker bar and the site of many rally activities.

“The whole scene was incredible,” said David. “There were bikes and bikers everywhere. High energy gooi.”

The GooiNation Street Team has been visiting the U.S., Europe and Asia since spring, highlighting the impending world debut of the Mygooi mobile device platform. Tour updates are available on Facebook at
